Out of the kitchen, onto the footy field for Masterchef's Ben and Andy
Weary and sore MasterChef duo Ben
Milbourne and Andy Allen ran off the field at Girdlestone Park triumphant with the pair successfully
contributing to East Devonport's Reserves
runaway win over Ulverstone.
Andy, in his first AFL game ever,
walked away with a big smile on his face and one goal for the four
quarters.
Ben and Andy played all four
quarters of football and said they were a bit tired and sore for the
effort.
``I'm now a big advocate for
preseason,'' Ben laughed.
``I wont be able to walk for a
week,'' Andy added.
The boys fitted in quite well with
the other East Devonport lads and never once
looked out of place, taking it all in with ease.
Ben said he was proud of best friend
Andy and said his favourite part of the game was seeing his friend kick his
first AFL goal.
``I was hoping that he'd kick
one.''
Andy said he enjoyed every facet of
the game and said that he would definitely play
again.
``I loved every minute of
it.''
Fellow contestant Beau Cook was also
in on the NTFL action, watching the game and chatting with the members of the
crowd.
``We didn't get any sledging,'' Ben
said.
``Beau was the only one slinging
abuse,'' he laughed.
``He followed us all around the
ground bagging us out.''
