Ben Milbourne will film a second season of Ben's Menu in Tasmania

The hunger for Tasmanian produce has driven Ben Milbourne to cook up a second season of his popular television show, Ben's Menu.
Filming for the second season will begin next month, with the former MasterChef contestant saying it was a relief to let everyone know a second season was coming.
Foodies will be in for a treat, with Milbourne saying the new season will be jam-packed with more local produce, more locations and more special guests.
The state government will provide $50,000 cash and in-kind support for the show and also announced that Qantas had come on board as an airline partner.
"We are very happy to be telling people there will be another series of Ben's Menu," Milbourne said.
"It was just about getting all the ducks in a row before we announced it."
The announcement will allow Milbourne to shoot his show earlier than the first season.
He said this will mean less pressure to get the content together before the September deadline.
"The first month of shooting we will be out and about, which we weren't able to do shooting last year as it was coming into winter."
The deal with Qantas will allow mainland chefs to come to Tasmania and see the produce.
Premier Will Hodgman was pleased to see the show air for another season.
"This creates incredible exposure for our island home, our primary producers and the artisans who make it their mission to give visitors the paddock to the plate, or the ocean to the table as it may be, experience," Mr Hodgman said.
"There's no doubt produce like our seafood and wines will get mouths watering, but more so Ben's travels around the state will give Australians a taste of the unique experiences Tasmania has to offer."
